Hello, I’m Oneeka, currently a 2nd year medical student at UQ with a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical sciences. I have been tutoring high school students for 5 years holding both a blue ​(working with children) and yellow card. I mainly tutor maths methods and  biology for years 11/12s and a focus on maths, science and homework help for years 8-10.

My preferred teaching method is online via Zoom ​(or nearby libraries). My style of tutoring is tailored to each individual by engaging them in the lesson and breaking down complex concepts into simple terms. I always strive to relate tedious school work to my student’s interests, eventually developing their interest in each subject matter. This will help them in the long term to achieve their academic goals.
