We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Independent Support Worker - around Mt Garavatt area.

Please note: As the client is a woman in her 30s, we are seeking a female support worker for this role.

While some care is provided at the client’s home, the role also involves shopping outings and community activities. 

This position is ideal for someone active, flexible, and comfortable working both indoors and outdoors.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assistance with personal hygiene

Household tasks (including cleaning and organising)

Transport support and participation in community activities

Assistance with medical equipment (wheelchair, lift, portable toilet)

Providing ADHD support

Hours:

Onoing Tuesdays and Thursdays between 5:30 - 10 AM

Minimum 2 hours. Schedule will vary depending on the client’s needs; the client works full time in the Brisbane CBD has various starting times between 8-10

Requirement:

Blue Card and Yellow Card

First Aid and CPR certification

Valid Australian driver’s licence

Own vehicle with third-party insurance

ABN (independent contractor status)

Business insurance linked to your ABN

Strong communication skills and cultural understanding

Basic English proficiency

Flexible and adaptable approach to care
