Disability Support Worker - Fortitude Valley (Experience Required)

Hello everyone,

We're looking for a dedicated support person with excellent manual handling skills to join our team in providing care for a male with a spinal cord injury.

Role Overview

Your primary responsibility will be to offer one-on-one support, either at home or in the community. This includes assisting with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, domestic assistance, community access, and other aspects of daily living.

Location: Fortitude Valley, QLD 4006.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience working with clients with physical disabilities.

Proficiency in using hoists.

Strong time management skills and the ability to learn quickly.

A proactive approach to problem-solving with a ‘can do’ attitude.

Exceptional interpersonal skills.

Reside within a 20-30 minute commute from Fortitude Valley (preferred but not mandatory).
