My housemate is moving out so I am looking for a new housemate / roommate to live peacefully with me in South Brisbane QLD. You’ll be sharing the whole 1-bedroom/1-bathroom unit with only me (1 girl).

1min walk to bus stop: Melbourne St at Manning St stop 4 (bus 199, 196, 192) - just 2 stops away from City Hall Adelaide Street; 7mins walk to Cultural Center

???? Walking distance (about 5mins) to Coles, Woolworths, Harris Farm Markets, and many local restaurants and pubs

Ideal for: 1x WOMAN only - Clean, quiet, tidy, busy and considerate woman looking for an accommodation for until the last week of October / first week of November.

I will also consider a MAN only if you’re okay with the living room and you are trustworthy and safe.

???? Available from end of June 2025 (negotiable). Start date negotiable but possibly around end of June. The lease is until 6th of Nov 2025 and I’m looking for someone to stay with me until the lease ends.

Price: $280/week if you want to share the bedroom (separate beds), $270 if you want to stay in the living room (own bed, room partition available as per photos)

Includes electricity, gas, and water (reasonable usage)
You will only share the whole apartment with me.

Room Features:
???? Room equipped with a ceiling fan, single mattress for you, space in the built-in cupboard with full sized mirrors (OR you can stay in the living room, there is partition available for privacy)
????️ Pillows, sheets, and blankets available

House Amenities:
???? Fully furnished unit with TV, sofa, dining area
???? Shared bathroom and kitchen facilities (just with 1 person)
⚡️ Inclusive rent covering electricity, gas, water (reasonable usage) - no Wi-Fi
????️‍♂️ Access to common areas such as the swimming pool and gym
???? Own swipe key
???? Washing machine, dryer, drying rack for clothes available (reasonable usage like 1-2 times in a week)
???? Cooking anytime between 8am-10pm (if needs to be later than 10pm, just let each other know)

Terms:
• Stay until end of lease
• 4 weeks bond and 2 weeks rent are required upfront. Bond is returnable once finished. Must be approved by agent. Will just need copy of photo ID and maybe some more documents for our agent’s records.
• Must keep the unit clean, tidy, and undamaged. No shoes inside the house.
• Share the housework - Help clean the house together once a week or so.
• Quiet hours: 11pm - 7am. (If we are both not working the next day, negotiable, just communicate)
• No drugs, no smoking, no parties, no guests over (unless communicated and consented); reasonable and responsible alcohol consumption.

You just need to bring your personal and food items. ????

Apologies the photos don’t include one with the single bed in the bedroom. But the single bed will be placed in the bedroom, unless you prefer staying in the living room. (As per the photo)

ABOUT ME:

????‍♀️ You’ll be sharing the unit with me! I am a 28-year old woman from Indonesia. I will be working at a hotel near the city. Normally away in the morning. But I’m looking for a second job so I might work for a little bit in the evening too.

I am looking for someone who is NOT a super late night owl; someone quiet and considerate (especially about noises, because I'm a light sleeper) so we can have chill evenings and good sleep.

Preferably someone busy and is rarely home.

We can have/make dinner together at home, or hang out when we have common day(s) off. ☺️
