We are a serene and traditional Japanese bath house set on a large block of land in the stunning Blue Mountains, offering guests a tranquil escape with spectacular views.

Position: Experienced Housekeeping

Location: Japanese Bath House Blue Mountains, NSW

Pay: From $35/ hour based on experience

Full time/Part Time available

Immediate start: Must be able to start immediately

Position Overview:

We are seeking dedicated and meticulous individuals to join our team as Housekeeping Staff at our esteemed Japanese bath house. As a member of our housekeeping team, you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and a welcoming atmosphere throughout our facilities. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will ensure that every guest enjoys a pristine and comfortable environment. 

Responsibilities:

- Perform daily cleaning tasks according to established standards and procedures.

- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.

- Ensure all assigned areas are well-maintained, including floors, surfaces, and amenities.

- Monitor and replenish supplies, such as towels, toiletries, and cleaning products.

- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.

- Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned.

- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene to create a positive guest experience.

Requirements:

- Background knowledge of Japanese culture

- Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred.

- Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.

- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management.

- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry cleaning supplies and equipment as needed.
