Hello SunBrisbane community, 

I provide English language tutoring to non-native speakers in the Brisbane City area. I am looking in particular to tutor international students who may be looking for the following things:
(1) One-on-one English conversation classes

(2) Help with assignments such as essays, reports, presentations etc. 

Qualifications:

I have two degrees and one graduate certificate: 

(1) A psychology degree from The University of Queensland

(2) A philosophy degree from The Australian National University

(3) An information technology graduate certificate from The University of Queensland

Experience

(1) I have 4 years experience at ICTE-UQ teaching English to international students who take 1 month to 6 month ESL courses prior to starting a university degree. Most of my students were from Japan, Korea and China.

(2) I have been hired to partake in the JET Programme, a Japanese government run programme where English native speaker teachers are sent to Japan to teach English in primary, middle, and high schools for 1 to 5 years which starts in September 2021. 

(3) I am currently tutoring two businessmen in Brisbane City who may be able to provide references. 

I am currently studying Japanese at UQ in preparation to go to Japan in September. I charge $30 per hour and am flexible with the times and days of when you would like to meet.
