Brunch Café Kitchen Chef Wanted (Solo Kitchen Role)

Location : Hendra (near Brisbane Airport)
Schedule : Tuesday – Saturday | 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Pay : Casual role | Pay is competitive and based on your experience

Hi, We’re a small and friendly brunch café looking for so​meone to take charge of our kitchen.

This is a solo kitchen role, so we’re after someone who’s confident, organised, and enjoys working independently.

- What you’ll be doing

• Cooking and preparing brunch dishes

Making cabinet food (sandwiches, wraps, muffins, light baking)

Managing prep, stock, and ordering

Keeping the kitchen clean and organised

Running the kitchen during service

Helping with occasional catering

- What we’re looking for

• At least 2 years kitchen experience (brunch café or restaurant)

Someone comfortable running a kitchen on their own

Fluent in English

Good communication skills and able to work well with FOH team

Reliable, organised, and able to multitask

Looking for a long-term position

- Bonus if you have

• Catering experience

Menu planning or development experience
