We are looking for a proactive and detail-focused Project Coordinator & Administrator to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting the coordination and administration of projects across the business, as well as assisting the senior management team with company-specific initiatives.

About the ROLE

As a Project Coordinator at Be Built, you will work with a closely knitted team to manage the safe, profitable, timely and quality delivery of projects.

What YOU will be doing

·       Management of trades and subcontractors on site. 

·       Coordination of all site logistics, material delivery and resource allocation.

·       Implementation of OH&S policies.

·       Ensuring adherence to plans and specifications.

·       Approval of subcontractor invoices 

·       Liaison with Project Manager to ensure budget and time constraints are met

·       Long- and Short-term programming.

·       Review + negotiate subcontract and supplier terms

·       Assist with administration of Head Contracts – including claims, variations, EOTs + RFIs

·       Accurate + timely administration of Subcontracts – including claim assessment + variations

·       Manage Procurement + administration of project work processes from tender to completion

·       Negotiation with subcontractors and suppliers

·       Assist with financial management of projects

·       Coordinate council approvals and associated permits and records

·       Provide regular status updates to the Project Manager for all facets of the projects

 

What YOU will bring to the role

·       Preferably 1-3 years experience within a Contract Administrator role

·       Fit Out experience preferable

·       Bachelor of Construction Management, QS or a Construction related qualifications preferable

·       Ability to build and maintain relationships

·       Understanding of specifications and drawings for accuracy and buildability
