We are located in Brisbane Southside inside a popular Westfield shopping centre. The customers are mostly local residents and families from a diverse background. We are looking for a passionate and self-motivated hair professional who is qualified and experienced in all aspects of hairdressing. If you’ve got  the right skills and attitude to fulfil  the clients needs in a fast-paced hair salon, you will find this role suitably challenging and pleasantly rewarding.

Job Description

·       Haircuts and styling for Men, Women and Children.

·       Colour services including consultation.

·       Permanent waves and straightening.

·       Styling with blow-dry, straightening and curling irons and hair up-do.

·       Sales of retail products with sound knowledge.

·       Maintain clean and hygienic work environment and equipment while adhering to relevant OHS&E guidelines.

·       High standard of customer service both in person and on the phone.

·       Good manners and tidy appearance are required, execute opening and closing of the salon.

Role Requirement

·       Certificate 3 in Hairdressing.

·       Minimum of five years’ salon experience.

·       Competency in all aspects of hairdressing works.

·       Strong time management skills and punctuality.

·       Excellent communication skills and friendly attitude to easily build rapport with clients. 

·       Passion for staying up-to-date on industry trends and techniques.
