Sushi Yado@ STARS building, HERSTON

Sushi Yado is a Japanese takeaway shop located in the main food court of the STARS building, RBWH campus in Herston. We are a fast paced shop selling a range of sushi and rice bowls. Store opens 5 days a week.

Casual positions available:

 

1) Kitchen Hand

Responsibilities may include (depending on shift times):

- Making sushi

- Food handling and preparation

- Making hot food orders

- Using the fryer

- Dishwashing and general clean ups

Shifts range from 5 – 8 hours between 6am till 4pm

*Priority to people who can work early morning shifts

 

MUST HAVE:

- Experience working in a fast paced environment

- Fluent in English

- Self-motivated

- Fast learner

 

2) Front of the house customer service

Some responsibilities include:

- Serving customers sushi

- Using cash registers (POS)

- Regular wiping/cleaning of countertops

Shifts range from 4 – 6 hours between 8am to 4pm

 

MUST HAVE:

- Fluent in English

- Experience in customer service, POS system and cash handling skills

- Experience working in a fast paced environment

- Self-motivated

- Fast learner
