I’m looking for a new female housemate to share my 1-bedroom apartment in South Brisbane. You’ll be sharing the whole unit with only me (1 girl).

- 1 min walk to stop for bus for 199, 196, 192 (Melbourne St at Manning St stop 4) / 5 milk walk to stop for bus 60 (Mollison St near Melbourne St, stop 5)
- Only 2 stops to City Hall Adelaide St; 7 mins walk to Cultural Centre
- 5 mins walk to Coles, Woolworths, Harris Farm Markets, restaurants & pubs

Rent
• $300/week if sharing the bedroom (separate single beds)
• OR you can stay in the living room, separated by a privacy partition (see photo)

Includes electricity, gas, and water (reasonable usage)

• Ceiling fan, single bed & mattress provided
• Built-in mirrored wardrobe space
• Pillows, sheets & blankets included
• Fully furnished living area (TV, sofa, dining area)
• Shared kitchen & bathroom (only with me!)
• Access to swimming pool & gym
• Own swipe key
• Washing machine, dryer & drying rack available (reasonable use: 1–2x per week)
• Cooking allowed between 8am–10pm (later if discussed)
• No Wi-Fi currently, but we can set one up and split the cost

House Rules
• Stay until lease end (April 2026)
• 4 weeks bond + 2 weeks rent upfront (bond returnable; agent approval required)
• Keep the unit clean, tidy, and damage-free
• No shoes indoors (house slippers provided)
• Help clean the common area weekly
• Quiet hours: 11pm–7am (flexible if we both have the next day off)
• No smoking cigarettes, no drugs, no parties, and no guests without mutual consent
• Reasonable alcohol consumption only

Just bring your personal items and food — everything else is ready for you!

About Me

I’m 28 years old, originally from Indonesia, working at a hotel near the city and a takeaway shop in Fortitude Valley. I’m usually out in the mornings.

I sleep around midnight and prefer someone who’s not a night owl — I’m a light sleeper, so quiet evenings are important to me. During summer I sleep with the AC on since it gets a bit stuffy.

I enjoy relaxing nights at home and would love to have a friendly, respectful “housemateship.” We can share dinner sometimes or hang out on our days off — but I also respect personal space.
