Our growing business is looking for a talented and experienced chef manager to join our team. Join us to seek for more opportunities and developments.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Cooking and preparing dishes and ingredients as per company specifications.
- Maintaining safe, secure, and healthy environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures during the kitchen operation.
- Ensuring high quality of dishes is maintained.
- Managing BOH and Cost of Goods.
- Stock rotation and stock ordering.
- Developing and reviewing the menus.
- Training staff as required by demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures.
- Assisting in all sections of the kitchen when required during service to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.
Qualifications & experience
- Have 3 years or above Japanese cuisine experience working in a high volume fast paced kitchen
- Previous experience in Japanese cuisine and/or sushi techniques preferred.
- Be flexible and reliable with availability to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.
- Outstanding management skills.
- Good knowledge of managing BOH and Cost of Goods.
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
- A positive approach to other team members.
- Have a great attitude and work ethic.
- Wok Cooking experience preferred.
Annual Salary starting from $75000 + Super + KPI Incentives
