Crafty Monk Brewing boasts a full kitchen and bar, offering service from breakfast until evenings, redefining the microbrewery experience. With a total seating area for 200 people, we have 2 outdoor areas as well as indoor seating. Our wood fired pizza oven will be our added to our outdoor area shortly and our microbrewery is planned to be fully operational in May. Currently seeking well-seasoned and experienced a Chef de Partie to join our collaborative Kitchen team with an immediate start. Working closely with the food & beverage leadership team, you will be responsible as a valued member of the kitchen team to deliver innovative and guest focused menus, on seasonal rotation, across the Restaurant & Bar, Outdoor Pizza Kitchen, Takeaway and Function services.

About the role:

• Responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food presentation, quality and service within our kitchen.
• Ensure that all dishes meet high standards during every stage of preparation and presentation.
• Develop and plan innovative menus and daily specials that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
• Effectively manage food costs and inventory to optimise profitability while ensuring quality.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations in the kitchens.
• Uphold kitchen safety measures and sanitation practices consistently.
• Address customer complaints promptly and resolve issues effectively to enhance guest experience.
• Act honestly and always in the best interests of the Employer.
• Promptly follow all lawful directions from management in respect to the carrying out of duties.
• Always carry out all the responsibilities to the best of your ability.
• Cooperate and assist management and other employees as and when required.
• Conduct yourself in a manner that promotes the image, reputation and goodwill of the Employer in all dealings with stakeholders.
• Continuously improve cooking skills across various areas of the kitchens to achieve culinary excellence, provide excellent guest experiences, and meet business goals

What we need from you:

• Proven experience working as a Chef with a passion for delivery excellent food.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage well with the team and all stakeholders
