♬ Accomodation: Houses following areas; Morayfield, Caboolture, Burpengary.

♬ Location of Farm: Beerwah/Sunshine coast/Gatton

♬ Working hours: 6 to 8 hours a day on average or more

♬ Rent: Double Room $120 a week, Deposit $200, 2 weeks notice in advance

♬ Payment: You will work under contract, which mean you will get as much as you work. It differs from $600 to $2000 a week.


Job description & Price

Picking : Picking strawberries from plants using trolley.
Unit price = Currently about $1.5 per tray.
The unit price at the farm is better than anywhere else because the price per tray is decided everyday based on the ammount of the fruits workers pick for the day.

* Packing : Packing strawberries from the farm in a pack house.
Unit price = $0.17 per box
$0.18 is the price when you complete packing strawberry to sell to markets and there is little change in the price.


Strawberries are constantly coming out! If you pick them and look back, there will be strawberries already ripe and ready to be picked again. It's a very good time to make money and get 2nd year visa as well. All you have to do is come to the farm and pick/pack strawberries!
