Hello! We are looking for a creative and passionate full-time chef for Kitchen8 Cafe, a vibrant and stylish brunch cafe located in the heart of Brisbane. We are looking for a talented person who can provide the best taste and experience to our customers. We have a Korean head chef and multi cultural staffs with respectful and inclusive working environment. You can learn a lot of experience and knowledge while working with us.

You can travel by train from the city and it is a 10-15 minute walk from Northgate Station. 

Location: 

20/62 Crockford St, Northgate QLD 4013 

Working hours: 

5 days a week, Monday through Friday, 

Closed on weekends and public holidays, and two weeks off during Christmas at the end of the year.

Salary: 

Negotiable 

Main Duties

Preparing, managing ingredients and maintaining kitchen cleanliness

Suggesting and developing new menu ideas

Collaborating with kitchen team and supporting smooth operation

Qualifications

Preferred 2+ years of relevant experience - At least 1+ years of experience is preferred

Qualified to have fast and accurate cooking skills

Complying with hygiene management and safety regulations

Teamwork and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in a cafe or restaurant in Australia

Holding a valid Australian work visa or permanent residency

Developing menus and having creative cooking ideas
