Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry, strong leadership skills, and the ability to provide outstanding customer service. You will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring the quality of service and food, and maintaining the restaurant's profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and manage restaurant staff to ensure exceptional service standards are consistently met.
- Oversee the dining area, kitchen, and bar (if applicable), ensuring operations run smoothly and efficiently.
- Manage staffing requirements, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Develop strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
- Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory and order supplies to ensure the restaurant is well-stocked.
- Handle budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to achieve financial objectives.
- Address customer feedback with professionalism and resolve any issues to maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar managerial role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of making and serving Cocktails. RSA compulsory
- Knowledge of best practices in restaurant management and the latest industry trends.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- A degree in Hospitality Management or related field is a plus.
