We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Private Support Worker (Disability Support) based in Brisbane.
Note: The client is a woman in her 30s, so female applicants only.
This role involves supporting an Australian client who speaks Japanese and English, and enjoys Japanese culture.
Position Details

Work as an Sole Trader (Client is based in Mt Gravatt and work is in the city)

Some support will take place in the client’s home, but there will also be outings such as shopping and community activities
-
Suitable for someone energetic, flexible, and adaptable
Key Responsibilities
-
Personal care and hygiene support
-
Household assistance (cleaning and organising)
-
Supporting travel and participation in community activities
-
Assisting with medical equipment (wheelchair, hoist, portable commode, etc.)
-
Accompanying the client to appointments
-
Providing ADHD support
Work Hours
-
Tuesday to Friday: 5:00 AM – 10:00 AM (Minimum 3 hours)

Work hours will align with the client’s work schedule and may vary slightly week to week
Required Qualifications
Education / Licences:
-
First Aid and CPR Certificate
-
NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working with Children Check (Blue Card & Yellow Card (can help)
Other Requirements:

Valid Australian Driver’s Licence

A car with at least third-party insurance
-
ABN (for independent contracting)
-
Business insurance linked to the ABN
Highly Desirable (not necessary)

Certificate or qualification in Individual Support
Skills:
-
Good communication and understanding of diverse cultures
-
Basic English skills
-
Flexible and adaptable to the client’s needs
-
Able to commit for at least 6 months
