About us

Tenya (天屋) Japanese restaurant & Bar is a new Japanese restaurant located in heart of Brisbane CBD. We have casual dining tables, Japanese-style VIP rooms, an Omakase/Kaiseki area, and a huge indoor/out-deck bar area. Before we officially open in the middle of June, we seek qualified and experienced Japanese cuisine chefs, Bartender, Floor manager, to join us. Be together, we can make a huge difference.

The Successful applicant will:

1. Be able to prepare, cook and present dishes to a high standard with the consistency of all dishes

2. Have knowledge of Japanese food, ingredients and culinary techniques, with experience in the Japanese restaurant

3. Have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety

4. Exceptional knife skills, a professional and calm manner, a good attitude and be respectful of all
